Marlo Tan Walpole has over 16 years of experience successfully managing various aspects of Product Development in both private and publically-held companies in the allograft, medical device and biologic industries. Most recently, Marlo served as Director of Biotechnology Development and was one of the original founding members at AxoGen, Inc. (NASDAQ: AXGN), a. leading medical technology company dedicated to peripheral nerve repair. Prior to AxoGen, she has worked for US Biomaterials, a Class III Medical Device company, RTI Surgical, Inc. (formerly known as Regeneration Technologies; NASDAQ: RTIX), and Oxthera Inc. (formerly known as Ixion Biotechnology) in areas of increasing responsibility including new product development and managing a cross-functional team in clinical trial production. Marlo has provided direct hands on management of several biomaterials projects from research to production and effectively launched and expanded multiple innovative products in emerging markets.
